Next to the Basilica, behind the eighteenth-century façade, the "Casa del Pellegrino" (two star hotel) provides a relaxing and modern setting, with conveniences these days you normally find in hotels of a higher category.

The entire complex has 157 rooms (298 beds), all supplied with a telephone, TV, 124 (including 24 in the annex) with bath.

The annex, a building restructured July 1999, consists of 24 comfortable and spacious rooms, all with bath, satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning and an electronic bedroom locking system.

Most of Casa del Pellegrino's rooms look onto gardens and internal courtyards guaranteeing the guests peace and quiet.

Hours: the hotel is open all year except for closure for holidays and maintenance in December and January.

Amongst the services offered by the "Casa del Pellegrino" there is a large restaurant which has a well-lit dining area and several smaller rooms. Both dining and kitchen service is of an elevated quality, with a capacity for 500 guests.

There are many areas at the disposal of the guests, amongst which there are two meeting rooms that can hold up to 45-50 persons each and two communal sitting-rooms with a television.

Characteristic of how these premises are run, there is an area reserved for prayer and meditation: a modern and striking chapel.
The guests can make use of an ample car park in the internal courtyards.

There is an area reserved for buses and coaches outside for ease of entry and exit for guests and baggage.
There is also a well-lit café at the "Casa del Pellegrino". Its windows look out under an old archway, with a view of Saint Anthony's Basilica.
